We've Got Our Riot Gear On, But We Just Want To Have Fun

Springtime also brings soccer!
Woo hoo!

That's Riley running after the ball.  The kid with the red arms.

I think it was a cold morning.  Maybe that wasn't this day, but there were a few cold mornings.  I guess.  I wouldn't really know.  A lot of the time I was at rehearsal when their games were going on this time.  But I took these pictures.  I can't get Kurtis to take pictures of them at their games for me, so I was actually at this game. :)

Blurry picture of Riley about to kick the ball!

Now here's Zach.  His uniform was really bright.  And that's all I have to say about that.

But he is more fun to watch now that he is older and not afraid of hurting himself or others.

This shot is my favorite (of Zach this year).

Apparently, I forgot to take my camera to Kaleb's games this year.
I'll take my mother of the year award now.

This game was one of Zach's.  They all got to play in the rain that day.
Usually, they don't let them and cancel the games, but they didn't cancel the games that morning because the had already cancelled games due to weather, and it was time to get the season over with already!
Yes, that's my script reflected in the window of my car.  That's why I like this picture. :)

You're My Crutch When My Legs Stop Moving

So I've been meaning to blog about Easter Sunday 2015 for a long time now.  I'm finally doing it.
For Easter, we went to my parents' house to celebrate the holiday.  We had a lot of fun, but I'm just going to show you the pictures of the day because there are a lot (somewhere around 45ish), and I have been meaning to share some of these with my family for a long time.

The Easter Bunny came and we ate a lot of candy.

We had an egg hunt with chocolate eggs.

We waited for this sleepy head to come before we started the egg hunt.

 Baby feet!

When he woke up, he cuddled with me and then with Grandma.

His Uncle Kurtis got to hold him and feed him for the first time.

My dad.  He had his last day of work Monday or Tuesday the next week.
He was excited to retire.

Michael had an art project due, so we helped him finish it.

It's seven years of food storage of different cans of food.  I think it was seven different kinds.  It was a lot of paper cans.  That's all I remember.  Maybe he will leave a comment and break it down for us.

Easter was April 5th.  Emily's birthday is April 4th.
So I baked her a cake.

 We lit 26 candles.

Took her picture with the cake all lit up.

And then she blew them all out in one go.
We ate the cake.  It was a rainbow cake with blue swirled into it because blue is her favorite color.

The boys took Gus outside to play with sidewalk chalk.

 Gus loved it.

Riley is really into the video game Five Nights At Freddy's.
It's a jump-scare game that takes place at a pizza/game restaurant (like Chuckie Cheese).  You play the night guard and you have to survive getting killed by the animatronics in the game that come to life while everyone else sleeps.  So he drew the characters from the game.
This one is Chicka the Duck.

This one is Bonnie the Bunny.

 Zach drew flames.

 Kaleb just drew a person.

 The finished Chicka the Duck.

Gus knelt down next to Zach in the middle of his drawing.  Zach didn't mind.

 Riley's Freddy the Bear.

 Zach's flames.

The result of kneeling on Zach's drawing.  Which is pretty cool.

Golden Freddy. That's all we know about it.

Someone drew a dragon.  I think it was Zach.

 Kaleb's finished work.

I think this was Ben's work of art.

Foxy the Pirate Fox (also from Five Nights At Freddy's).

I went inside for a minute to see this cutie pie napping again.
But as I look through these pictures, I realize I have none of my other baby!
What?  That's not very nice of me.

 Zach drew another dragon.
A really big one.

And here's it's head.
