Sacrament Meeting Art #34: July 6, 2014.
I've been driving south a lot these last few days and as I return home, I've been admiring the mountains here.
I really like the yellow fields of grass littered with trees of dark green. Maybe it's just my yellow tinted sunglasses, but everything looks greener and more beautiful through them.
Also, the thing about crayons is you can't color the sky blue and then add white clouds. You have to add the blue and imagine what the clouds look as you go along. This makes it difficult for me to shape them and fluff them out and shade them. For the most part, these clouds please me. I think they turned out alright.
I like to look at the trees on the mountains and try to find pictures in them. You know. Like we do when we watch the clouds float by. In the last grouping on the right, I see a weird vulture-like bird with a hat on its head. What do you see? Feel free to let me know in the comments. It'll be fun.
