Wonderful Works

Last week, on Tuesday, I went to the LDS Church History Museum downtown with a group of women I go to church with.  Mormons call this organization the Relief Society.  Our Relief Society president is a volunteer at the museum and she wanted to show us their new exhibit.  The LDS Church History Museum sponsored an international art competition for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Those works are on display right now for your viewing pleasure.  The theme this year was, "Make Known His Wonderful Works".  It's not a big museum, but the display is beautiful and I would definitely recommend checking it out.  There is also a display of some of the things that were in the Logan temple before they gutted it in the late 70s or early 80s.

The Church History Museum is located at 45 North West Temple Street in downtown Salt Lake City.  It's open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Admission is free.
